GreatFire is tracking Apple iOS applications for instances of censorship

GreatFire is pleased to announce the launch of our newest project – and our first with a global focus – Apple Censorship GreatFire will track Apple iOS applications for instances of censorship, documenting when and how apps are removed in order to provide more transparency. This new project will bring transparency to instances where Apple removes apps from local App Stores and will shed light on instances of Apple censorship around the world. Over the coming months we will make several improvements to the website, so that the following questions can be answered: Is app X currently available in the Apple App Store?
