Google terminated our startup’s developer account – what do we do?

About 4 days ago we received a notification that our startup’s Google Play developer account has been terminated due to association with a previously terminated account. We dug more and found out that one of the android developers on our team, whom also was responsible for initially opening our company account had their personal Google Play developer account terminated years ago and therefore by association with that developer, our company’s developer account was terminated. Now we’re also afraid that if we try and open another company developer account and letting a team member in good standing with Google create the account, that new account will also be terminated due to association with our previously terminated company account.
