I loved the idea of creating a software company people would read about in the papers. I was building a piece of software, uncreatively named “Dave’s Debugger”, to make crash determination easy, just a few button clicks. Load up the memory dump file, click analyze and Dave’s Debugger would print out a nice message to the monitor saying why the other piece of software crashed.
