Deadly stupidity during Aeroflot flight 1492 emergency evacuation

Based on videos, it appears the plane touched down rather violently, resulting in the subsequent fire and crash. It’s still possible, however, that a strike could have started an on-board fire, or in some way had affected the plane’s instruments or flight controls. While a deadly fire raged around them, witnesses say people were nonetheless stopping to collect their carry-ons, clogging the aisles and slowing the evacuation.
