Digital Guide to Low Tech

I tried through this guide to unroll all the logic behind the design of this low tech site and thus list all the tools and references that are useful for carrying out such projects. The constraint set by the average page weight implies working differently with the images / videos which generally constitute 90% of the weight of a website. To reduce the weight I followed the method used by the Low Tech Magazine by exporting my images to the web with the following parameters:

Some images, especially diagrams, run around 16kb per image so I was able to lower my average compared to other pages that exceed it.
