One Hundred Users in Two Weeks

After giving her a mockup that looked as simple as a fake email field, an “icon here” placeholder and our title and subtitle “Junior Developer jobs in your inbox”, we got this back, which we were very happy with. After hooking up the two landing page fields to Mailchimp and adding the GA script to be injected by Netlify in the post-processing stage, we were ready to collect signups – and test the idea. Though sadly I didn’t ship the MVP with the all the appropriate Goals and GA instrumentation, we could get a rough idea from our signup email notifications when a particular subreddit or comment would catch on.
