CSS-In-JS and Static Rendering

And as I discovered while building create-react-blog and Frontend Armory, using CSS-in-JS for statically rendered sites still comes with a few caveats…

The idea behind static rendering is to speed up a site by pre-rendering the HTML for each page, which can then be displayed to users before the JavaScript finishes loading. This is because the rendered tags only contain the critical CSS that is required for the pre-rendered HTML. And due to the design of Webpack, changes to any JavaScript file in your project will usually require a change to every tag, and thus HTML file, in your app.
