‘Everybody In, Nobody Out’: What’s Known About the Medicare for All Act of 2019
“We are assured that the new bill will follow Senator Sanders’ Medicare for All Act and shelter the new national health plan from the Hyde Amendment, ensuring women’s access to the full range of reproductive health services.” We expect that the final bill will include the full range of health services covered by the previous House bill (HR 676), as well as additional services that reflect new advances in medical treatment and the needs of the disability community and other vulnerable care recipients. We are assured that the new bill will follow Senator Sanders’ Medicare for All Act and shelter the new national health plan from the Hyde Amendment, ensuring women’s access to the full range of reproductive health services.
