Code documentation — is there anything more exciting than spending your time writing extensive comments? Well-written code should indeed not require any comments to describe what the objective of a variable or function is. The thing is, having self-explanatory names for your variables, methods, classes, functions, modules, etc. doesn’t automatically describe the big picture of the code, nor does is necessarily tell much about the why and in what way parts.
