When we look at color systems, nearly all of them are similar in that a designer will choose colors by opening up a tool like Illustrator, Photoshop, or Sketch, pick a color, and using some overlay method to achieve light dark variants. When we looked at conventional programmatic color generation tools, nearly all of them progressed at a fixed rate with an even spread of light and dark colors, with minor if any, changes to saturation and hue.
