There are much more important ways to reduce code size, and the most important one is to make things that are simple.The word simple has a lot of definitions in modern usage, but the original definition– and the one that’s the most useful to a software developer– comes from simplex, which means one folder braid. But the good question is, what’s the right number?Well, I’m excited to say that today, in this room for the first time, I am going to release an open-source program that can take Agile story cards or GitHub issues and tell you how many new data structures you need to make. A typical Closure program will not introduce a single new data structure.
