AMD Ryzen 9 3950X with 61K points is the Fastest Processor on Geekbench

So, as AMD’s new 16-core Zen 2 flagship has now been officially launched, we now know for a fact that the Ryzen 3000 lineup won’t be limited to the 12-core 3900X. According to AMD’s first-party benchmarks, the Ryzen 9 3950X is faster than Intel’s i9-9960X, but as per a new Geekbench score, the 7nm AMD flagship might be even more powerful in certain scenarios. The closest Intel competitor is the 18-core i9-9980XE (with 46618 points) which gets left far behind with a margin of more than 14K points, all the while costing more than twice as much (Ryzen 3950X~$749, i9-9980XE~$2000+).
