Anti-Patterns

The existence of a pattern for solving some problem does not mean that other approaches are inherently incorrect, or valueless. When an approach is categorized as an anti-pattern, there is no further explanation necessary for critical thinking on the topic, and other software developers feel they can safely ignore the approach.
