A subcontractor with the US Customs and Border Protection agency has suffered a data breach that exposed the photos of travelers traveling in and out of the United States. “This breach comes just as CBP seeks to expand its massive face recognition apparatus and collection of sensitive information from travelers, including license plate information and social media identifiers,” Neema Singh Guliani, a lawyer for the American Civil Liberties Union, said in a statement.
